- Now add cooked dal-rice mixture to it. Mix very well to combine everything. Add more water to get the desired consistency. Simmer for 10 more mins.
- Now to prepare tempering, heat coconut oil/ghee in a tdka pan. Add heeng, mustard seeds, curry leaves. Allow to splutter then add whole cashews. Fry till cashews turn golden. Pour the tempering over bisi bele bath.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with Boondi or Cucumber raita!
